At the closing event, hosted by RTE’s Mark Langtry, in TUS Athlone, Caitríona Mordan reminded the group of students, companies, teachers and parents, that “#Dreambig is about aspiration, helping young people imagine ambitious futures for themselves and showing them that world-class careers in science, engineering and innovation can be built right here in their own communities. Our cluster strives to empower business leaders to build a regional workforce (current and future) with the skills and competencies required to keep pace with the innovative world of advanced manufacturing, and we do this by forging connections between the community and employers in the region. The Dreambig program opens doors and opens minds to future educational and employment opportunities for these young people.”

Now in its third year, Dreambig continues to grow and bring together industry, education and regional partners to inspire the next generation of engineers, innovators and problem-solvers. A huge thank you to our 18 atim cluster member companies, local authorities, and partners for making this programme possible. Most importantly, we celebrate the incredible students who embraced every opportunity with energy, enthusiasm and open minds.
