Attracting Young People to the Plastics Sector – Lessons from the Danish Plastics Federation

Join us for an online session hosted by ATIM and PolymerConnect, where we welcome Tomas Drustrup, Director of the Danish Plastics Federation, for an insightful conversation on one of the sector’s most pressing challenges: attracting young talent to plastics and polymer manufacturing.

Drawing on the Federation’s experience and benchmarking work, Tomas will share what has worked in Denmark — from outreach strategies and education partnerships to sector image campaigns and industry initiatives — and explore what lessons may be transferable to the Irish and wider European context.
