This month, marked another important milestone for ATIM cluster and the Midlands region with the launch of the ReHAPE platform.

ATIM cluster, is a partner in the ReSHAPE project, which represents a new model for regional skills planning, which is data-led, collaborative and future-focused. This project is sits under our strategic pillar of workforce development, where upskilling and talent development are vital to maintaining a competitive manufacturing ecosystem.

Powered by AI-enabled skills mapping aligned to the European ESCO framework, ReSHAPE connects individuals, employers and training providers within a single secure ecosystem that enables:

• Industry to gain clarity on workforce capabilities and emerging skills gaps
• Education and training providers to align provision with real-time demand
• Regional agencies and policymakers to make evidence-based investment decisions

Cluster member companies have actively contributed to ReSHAPE development and activities and see this platform as a robust, practical tool that will help them better identify and quantify skills needs in their organisations, helping them to remain competitive in an evolving advanced manufacturing landscape and helping them to meet challenges around recruiting and retention of skilled workforce.

ReSHAPE is a regional skills intelligence platform, co-funded by the Government of Ireland and the European Union through the EU Just Transition Fund. It has been developed in partnership by Technological University of the Shannon, Athlone Campus, Munster Technological University (MTU) and the University of Limerick (UL) to support workforce transformation.
