Let’s go through some of the activities we had in August and the advantages our members received.
The atim cluster held its first Spotlight on Advanced Manufacturing on Friday 2nd September. Began with site visit to Mergon, followed by Spotlight on Advanced Manufacturing Session. Run in partnership with Mullingar Chamber of Commerce, Westmeath County Council and Local Enterprise Office, Westmeath.
During the session, a progressive conversation, facilitated by Joan Mulvihill, focused on identifying opportunities for collaboration where companies can work together to remain competitive into the future.
Key outcomes from the day included the proposal to develop an interactive cluster member mapping tool, to support members identify and engage with other members on B2B collaborative opportunities. A progressive conversation on driving a coordinated approach to attracting and retaining talent to join SMEs in Mullingar and the wider region took place.
A sincere thank you to our cluster members and supporters for getting involved and for their commitment to working collaboratively to drive competitiveness of the manufacturing sector and unlock further potential for innovation.
